Snow / Hey Oh (Red Hot Chili Peppers)

A sad, deep and thoughtful composition that gives lots of food for reflection. Playing it correctly makes you unite with the song and be one with your instrument whether it's piano or classical guitar or ukulele. Although it's not at all about winter as such but somehow I see Oh Hey as a winter piece, it's a perfect time for playing it considering the mood. I love the arrangement a lot, it's meant for the learners and is tailored for this purpose very well. It won't take long to make the song sound worthy.

I think there's hardly anything I don't like about this song even though it touches the topic of drug addiction. The whole concept very interesting from the musical point of view. I can't help but praise the excellent guitar riff, the lead vocal's rhythm and the background vocals as well. And of course, the great lyricist talent of Mr. Kiedis, deep in wisdom and meaningfulness, can not leave me indifferent. The piece is catchy both for playing and singing.
