This simple arrangement is one of a series of British folk songs for SAB (soprano/alto/bass) choir and piano.
The original song dates back to the fifteenth century or before. I have used the John Oxenford English translation (1873)

Each instrument has a go at the tune, and the others harmonize or double at octaves at various points.
Versions are available for saxophone trio and piano, string trio and piano, wind trio and piano and SAB choir and piano.
The alto sax is quite high in this arrangement so I have also included an optional
soprano saxophone part which can replace the alto sax if preferred.
