L'estro armonico, Op.3 • Konzert für Violine und Streicher Nr.6 in a-Moll, RV 356

I've always been considering myself an amateur violinist and never thought I have many reasons to be proud of my skill. However, few days ago my teacher told me I should learn to play Vivaldi's Violin Concerto in A Minor. I had always liked Itzhak Perlman's version of this concerto and I wasn't confident in my ability, but you know...after a few try-outs I understood I'm not as bad as I used to think! I still know I have weaknesses (articulation, for example), but I'm working on them... Thanks for the sheet music!

If you need a not difficult but expressive and graceful piece for violin and piano, I would highly recommend the famous Violin Concerto in A Minor by Antonio Vivaldi. I'm a violin teacher, and this concerto is often played by my students. Recently one of them took part in a classical music contest for youth violinists. We decided to play this concerto. My student was charmed by striking and catchy melodies of the Violin concerto, so he was practicing well enough. As result he enjoyed performance and felt quite freely at the stage. And, you know, it was a big success, we were second-best in the competition. I think, because of a right choice of the composition.
