Roman Jungegger is an Austrian organist, composer, typesetter and arranger. He received his first music lesson at an early age of 8 and already at 13 debuted as a church organist. Still a child he decided for the ‘queen of instruments’ – the organ and its fascinating sound. Educated at the Vienna Diözesankonservatorium (conservatory for church music), in 2003 Jungegger became the principal organist at St. Catherine’s church in Vienna Atzgersdorf where he’s still working. Besides being a performer Jungegger is also a talented composer whose music style is imbued with Renaissance and late Romanticism.
