Liszt’s modesty and devotion to art were manifested in his convention to teach free of charge. Yet another proof of his generosity was revealed at the time when the composer, after his homeland was inundated, gave all the money he had earned at his concerts to help people affected by the disaster. The man of a generous nature, a gifted educator and composer Franz Liszt sought for new approaches in music all his life and can serve a perfect example for pianists and music lovers all over the world as creator of wonderful and inspiring music.
