This simple arrangement is one of an ongoing series of British folk songs for SAB (soprano/alto/bass) choir and piano. This particular song - a royalist revivalist ditty - is based on a traditional air and the words are attributed to Martin Parker (mid-17th century). This attribution is subject to "reasonable doubt" because royalists in England had to keep in hiding at the time! The sound sample is an electronic preview and uses wind instruments to represent the voices.
The zip file includes accompaniments in mp3 and midi format and two versions of the score - one small to save paper and one large for easier reading. It also includes a pdf of the piano part on its own.
