This simple arrangement is one of a series of British folk songs for SAB (soprano/alto/bass) choir and piano.
This uses the original Welsh words (division of syllables kindly confirmed by a native Welsh speaker).
These words are anonymous-traditional but they were not published in this form in the 19th century (by John Owen, a.k.a Owain Alaw Pencerdd)
(A version of this setting using John Oxenford's English translation is also available at
http://dwsolo.musicaneo.com/sheetmusic/sm-161832_the_ash_grove_-_for_sab_choir_and_piano.html )
The sound sample is an electronic preview and uses wind instruments to represent the voices.
The zip file includes accompaniments in mp3 and midi format, and the score and separate piano part in pdf format.
