A mitherpot - ein Nörgler auf deutsch - is someone, usually a child, who is always fussing and complaining. The word was invented in our family by conflating the verb "to mither" and the noun "fusspot". I don't know many others who use "mitherpot"..... yet! I composed the piece with a view to it being used as an amusing encore in a virtuoso concert. I hope you will enjoy the music sample - which is an electronic preview. It's humourous and reflects the sounds of many a tedious complaining child. If you have advanced skills on violin and piano, I think you will enjoy playing it. The zip file contains the full score and also separate violin and piano parts.
