“Let Her Go” is a song by the English folk rock artist Michael Rosenberg, better known by his stage name Passenger. It was released in 2012 as the 2nd single from his album “All the Little Lights”. The song was first noticed in the Netherlands but very soon it was already topping the world charts and became Passenger’s most successful work. “Let Her Go” is a melancholic song about love and the regret you get when you don’t value it and lose it. The song’s instrumentation includes acoustic guitar, piano, bass, drums and strings, it is performed in G major. “Let Her Go” became British Single of the Year and won Ivor Novello Award as Most Performed Work.
