A fun and simple melody, written on a scrap of paper (which was going to be the title, but for some reason the paper clip holding the paper together seemed a better name).
Should be a fun one to practice soloing and jamming over, and should make for pleasant background music for jazz trios/quartets to play at events.

An arrangement of my bluesy jazz tune by the same name. This arrangement is supposed to help newer players get a feel for jazz and blues music. The tune is very accessible (certainly for trumpet and sax, though I haven't tried other instruments).
The soloist is encouraged to improvise a solo over chords which are much easier than they look (promise!), and there is a simple sample solo written out which can be used as a springboard to improvisation. Also, feel free to play around with the tune - the last thing the player should do is play it exactly as written!
The recording was done as a once-through take, so it's a little rough around the edges, but it's basically right.
Thanks for listening - feel free to get in touch at michael.roberts@ucl.ac.uk for any comments or requests.
