“Up & Up” is an alternative rock song by the famous UK band Coldplay. The song was released in 2015 as part of their enigmatic album – the ‘outer-space’ “A Head Full of Dreams”. “Up & Up” can be justly called the grand finale of the album, and not only because it’s the final track on it. According to Chris Martin, the band’s frontman, the song was something that they had been planning to write for the last 15 years. “Up & Up” is the 3rd single from the album, along with “Adventure of a Lifetime” and “Hymn for the Weekend”. It’s a powerful encouraging ballad, magical and poignant. The song was praised by the critics, both for the contemporary and meaningful lyrics, as well as the melancholic piano and the impressive surrealist video that was released in May 2016. “Up & Up” is a symbolic completion of another chapter in the life of Coldplay.

Coldplay guys intended to make a party hymn and I think they fulfilled the task very well. If you can play piano (not necessarily at an advanced level), you could easily get this score, practise a bit and ignite one of your next parties with friends. It's fairly complicated but it sure will sparkle the night. After all, that's what the band created it for?
