“Fun” is a song by the multiple Grammy Award winners, Britain’s alternative rock pride – the band Coldplay. The song was released in 2015 as the 6th track on the band’s 7th “A Head Full of Dreams” album. It was written by all the 4 members of Coldplay and produced by Stargate and Rik Simpson, like almost all of the album’s pieces except “Colour Spectrum”. “Fun” features the vocals of the popular Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo, the author of the electropop hit single “Habits (Stay High)”. The creative duo of Coldplay and Tove Lo resulted in a very uplifting composition that “Fun” is. Lyrically, the song addresses a divorce situation when the hope for reviving the relationship still remains.

I've been watching Coldplay and trying to get engaged by playing some of their songs for a long time by now, always loved what they did and how they did it. It's one of the bands that keeps evolving for so many years in a row and I found something exciting in each album of theirs. However, the band keeps bringing surprises, amazing their fans with tracks that are so uncharacteristic of them. And Fun is one of such examples (the second composition of the kind is Adventure of a Lifetime). There are simply no tracks like that! And it's a real challenge to learn to play them at once.
