Written in 2009, Fruits of One Tree is a duet for flute and electronic keyboard, lasting four and a half minutes. By using the diversity of sounds between flute and keyboard as well as contrasting Eastern and Western idioms, the piece reflects on the diversity of Mankind and suggests that, despite such diversity, a level of harmony and agreement can be reached.
An mp3 file is available for the keyboard part which may be used if a suitable keyboard is not available.
