You know, I always admired people being masters in any field of activity, especially in classical music, as I’m its biggest fan. My sister is a music school student and she asked me to find in the Internet some interesting scores for advanced pianists. When I’ve found the sheet music “Faschingsschwank aus Wien” by the outstanding Robert Schumann, I understood that that was exactly what I had been looking for. The piece, known also as "Carnival Scenes from Vienna" or "Carnival Jest from Vienna", seems to require the highest level of performing skills and, I think, it is really worth attention of all virtuoso pianists and, in general, of those musicians who want to hone their piano playing skills. To my mind, playful character of the composition and a difficult pattern will make its practicing for my sister interesting and joyful.
