This mysterious song is a poetic vision of Mars. The original was written for 2 altos and guitar but, on request, I also made versions for piano accompaniment. The zip file contains all three versions: 2 altos and guitar, 2 altos and piano and alto, soprano and piano.
The sound sample, performed by the composer with Duncan Saunderson as second alto, uses an earlier unpublished version, the music is the same but the words in that unpublished version related to Venus and were subject to copyright restrictions, so I recreated the song for publication using my own words and switching to Mars....equally mysterious.
