Setting of my somewhat evangelistic poem about Christmas, for soprano (or tenor), alto (or baritone), 2 flutes, double bass, guitar, tambourine and ride bell ride.
This is not typical of my usual style, but it's a fun excursion into the evangelical music of mid-70s Oxford, where I was studying.

The Message of Christmas for 2 voices and instrumental ensemble started life as a simple song for one alto voice and guitar (both of those versions are also available on this site).
I didn't record the simple song but my late lamented friend Chris Benson played it with me back in 1975 on his cello. I thought it would be a nice tribute to Chris to include the Cello and Guitar version here.
