“Changes” is an art/glam rock song by the famous rock innovator, the honorable member of the Rock N Rock Hall of Fame, the inimitable David Bowie. The song was written by Bowie in 1972 and released both as part of his 4th album “Honky Dory”, as well as a single. If not the best-selling, “Changes” is for sure one of Bowie’s best-known compositions. Musically, some of the song’s features are Mick Ronson’s string arrangement, distinctive saxophone by Bowie and Rick Wakeman’s keyboard part. The chorus of the song was compared by the critics with The Who works. Lyrically, the song once again highlights composer’s chameleon personality. “Changes” became the last song Bowie performed live before quitting the performer’s career.
