Tal Zilber has finally written down his outstanding arrangement of F. Chopin's "Fantasie-Impromptu" for piano. It consists in a Jazz Version of the original piece written by Chopin, written in a Bluesy / RagTime style.

Which are the steps to purchase and download sheet music?

6.a. If you have a PayPal account, the safest way to pay online, just enter your email adress and password and follow the easy steps to complete the payment. To make sure you have enough funds in your PayPal account or if you have any questions regarding PayPal security and payments you could go to www.paypal.com
6.b. If you don't have a PayPal account, just pay with your debit or credit card like a normal online purchase. Just fill the information required and the payment will be processed automatically.

What if my currency is not USD?
Doesn't matter. The price is fixed in USD but you can pay using any currency, even if you're paying with credit card or PayPal the funds will get converted to USD according to the official change the day you purchase the score. Let's say your PayPal account or bank account works with Euros (€), never mind, just follow the steps normally and you will get charged the equivalent. Remember, the price in € is "lower" because 1 USD = 0,75€ aprox.

This is the middle part from the world famous piece for piano Fantasia-Impromptu, op.66 by Frederic Chopin. I think it is one of the most beautiful andante music ever written. Here you can download the arrangement of this part of Fantasia-Impromptu for any melodic instrument in treble clef with range from E4 to C5 (C6 ad libitum) and piano. So it can be performed on Violin, Viola, Flute, Oboe, Guitar, Mandolin etc., or even on piano in three hands. The original tonality of the Chopin’s Fantaisie-impromptu D flat major is preserved. The sheet music file includes the score for the solo instrument and piano and the solo part and is a downloadable PDF file which you can download to your PC and print out as many times as you wish. I'm glad Julian Fontana disobeyed Chopin's order and DID publish this outstanding piece. Otherwise, we would have never got to play a music gem like this.

So to this version of the Chopin is like filling a Cathedral with technically brilliant performance garbage. I love Ragtime and Scott Joplin and many musics other then Western Classical too. I have no snobbery with Song and Dance bands either, but this is merely a performer playing brilliantly a showy lounge lizard degrading of brilliance. As a composer I do write Variations a lot of them. This is an unfortunate moment for the pianist is obviously exceptionally talented as a performer; and I wish I had something good to say on his treatment of Chopin, but he is sadly lacking in the necessary compositional insight and talent required much more than mere performance skills necessary to create an excellent Variation on a work by Chopin. He needs a composer; but no composer even genius can fix his current rendition.

Sorry folks, He is an excellent show pianist, but as a composer or creative interpretation genius he's not. Best analogy I can say here is taking the Alhambra Palace, in Granada Spain or the Tal Mahal in India and turning it into a Disneyland Amusement Park; or putting a large very American McDonalds in the middle of Stonehedge in England. There is nothing inherently wrong with Disneyland Amusement Parks or a McDonalds, both are Great, however there is something very wrong and some correctly would all it a travesty to do the above
