“Jeannie” is the name of the song that became the theme to the popular American sitcom of the 60-70ies – “I Dream of Jeannie”. It appears in the second season of the comedy, when the American film music composer Hugo Montenegro replaced Richard Wess on this position (Wess composed the theme music to the first season but the sitcom’s creator Sidney Sheldon was not satisfied with his work). The lyrics to the song were written by Buddy Kaye. “Jeannie” became one of Montenegro’s most popular themes.
