This fourth piece - Hunting the hare - is based on the traditional English folk song about hunting wildlife - the sudden changes of octave represent the hare leaping around.

Hunting the hare (or Hela’r Ysgyfarnog) is a Welsh folk song. I have expanded it to represent the hopping of the hare as he tries to escape the hunter.
