“Froaangriblmn” is a word that Gary Powell Nash created which is a quasi-acronym for an inspirational phrase that guided him through the process. This three minute composition scored for six trumpets, five horns, three trombones, two euphoniums, two tubas and percussion features a ternary design where the main motive is a thirteen beat pattern of eighth and sixteenth note fanfare-like rhythms, notated with alternating measures of 4/4, 2/4, 4/4 and 3/4 The opening section features frequent hocketing between trumpets and horns and the return uses hocketing between trombones, euphoniums and tubas.
