Dear Franklin,
You have two kinds of composers....the ones who want every detail for 100% perfectly executed and the ones who give freedom to the performer and give them the trust that they will do there best to give a great performance and makes the work their own. I am one of the second category. I give my work to the performer and when this happened it is up to them to do what they think is right....but all in good taste!

I would like to hear these rags played a bit slower. The
'classic' rag tempo of Joplin wouldn't be appropriate (too slow) for your neoclassic style, but a tempo somewhere between this and Joplin might work better.

Paul Goldstein:
A really incredible piece, Maurice! It's just fantastic! The score captures a virtuosic player-piano flavor, something which I just love. (I've downloaded all the pages.) Has it ever been performed by a human? It looks tremendously difficult to perform (at the given speed), but the score is a work of genius, and the sound results are absolutely stunning! I listened to it again and again, and each time the piece was totally mesmerizing and revealed new insights.
