Drieberger Lieder was composed in 2014, after commission from Scherzando Choir (Driebergen, Netherlands) for choir's 20th anniversary celebration. The work is crafted in 3 movements, and combines German and Dutch lyrcis by J. G. Seume ("Sprache der Musik"), H. Marsman ("Paradise Regained") and K. E. Knodt ("Wo man singt"). In the last movement, there is an optional audiance participation, which is marked in the score. The premiere took place in Driebergen's Grote kerk by Scherzando Choir, directed by Reinhard Findenegg with Eleonora Semjonova at the piano.
