This is an early intermediate level swing arrangement of the familiar carol, Deck The Halls. The smallest note value is an 8th note. There are some chromatic fingerings, a couple extended hand position chords (1st inversion) and one spot with a one octave ascending G major scale in thirds. The only really large chord, which is in the RH, comes at the end [G7]. This is a peppy little number to add to the Christmas repertoire. ASCAP

This is a swing version of “Deck The Halls“ arranged for late elementary/early intermediate piano.
The left hand is in low D position to start with an octave shift up during the middle of the song for some chordal accompaniment (I, IV6/4 and V7). The left hand returns to the low D position to complete the song.
The right hand begins in G position moving up a scale-wise sequence in the middle before returning to G position. The right hand finishes with a G7 (root position) at the end. Both hands have a small amount of chromatic movement. ASCAP

This swing arrangement of the familiar carol, Deck The Halls, has some syncopation and a cool bass riff. I've used a couple 6th and 9th chords and ended the work on a G7 for more of a jazz sound. This set includes the full score and a full set of parts including an optional Violin 3 part which duplicates the viola.

This swinging version of Deck The Halls begins with a cool bass riff in the left hand. The melody is carried in the primo part which remains remains in middle c position for most of the song (deviating slightly for a scale wise pattern at one point and an octave shift for one measure). The left hand of the primo part and both hands of the secundo remain in one 5 finger position throughout. There is syncopation and some chromaticism bending the notes in a familiar jazz style. Fingerings are given at appropriate points. The arrangement ends on a quiet tonic 9th chord. ASCAP
