The Sonata for flute and piano is constructed as the traditional cycle of three movements. There is the distinct contradiction between the alarming impetuous first movements wish its torn motives and the second movement — ponderable centre of the whole sonata. Here, in the second movement the atmosphere is getting gentle and silent, where the touching melody plunges listeners to the world of idyll and peace. The form may be defined as the synthesis of variations and three movements construction. The Finale resembles some kind of reconciliation between two opposing personages, being the whole Sonata's contemplative philosophical epilogue.
