Based on a rondo structure, this entertaining prelude is full of melodic,rhythmic and harmonic interest.
Not unlike a polka, but with extra beats in some measures, it is a classical/Celtic fusion. Although challenging for the player it is an ideal "encore" or competition piece with its subtle nuances and exciting finish.
