The text of this work is by Giordano Bruno. The beginning of the text "Et natura parens" I have also used in the first of the TRES SENTENTIAE (Three Sayings) for SATB.

The choir work QUIN TU URE is number 8 of the cycle PRAŚASTI, based on a text (from 1591, from "De Triplici minimo et mensura”) by Giordano Bruno. ( There is also a quirky instrumental version of QUIN TU URE. ) Translation: Well you glow-filled intestine, my life, I will pray/ Glow heavier and do not spare your arrow boiler/ Let a thousand wounds make you one wound/ After all, I'll see that I change into one light/ And I will be completely eye-catching about everything distinctive/ And at one glance I will see present past and future at the same time At the same time, look at everything above and below
