Phos Hilaron (Hail Gladdening Light)

A truly glorious composition! Playing it feels so very special, knowing that this work comes from early Christian times and is the first hymn of the kind ever recorded independently from the Bible. The piece is very rhythmic and has a traditional sounding of a classical hymnal which makes it great for worship service. I love David Crowners setting, pretty much like his entire album Church Music. Amazing talented and easy to play songs.
