Canticum for cello octet was dedicated to my colleague and cellist/contrabassist Arjan van der Boom. It was inspired by the poem Gott by Bô Yin Râ, and it's the adaptation and transformation of the eight-part choral work with the same name. (Recorded by Kühn Choir Prague in 2012 on the CD Seeking & Finding (Navona Records, NV5877).
