A brand new, original march for brass band. The title refers to that oft felt feeling you get on a street march, especially after you have walked into a couple of bollards or pot holes and you're tired and cranky and want to get to the end!
It follows the traditional march form, with an Intro, a solo cornet and 1st baritone, with a counter melody on euphonium on the repeat. a contrasting section featuring lower brass arpeggios answered by high brass semiquaver motifs. This is followed by a 'bass solo'. Then comes the trio section with a lightly scored, lovely little melody on the solo euphonium, which is reprised with the whole band before a DC al fine.
A rousig march suitable for both concert and marching programmes. Please contact me for march sized copies.
