Based off of Burgmueller's original piano piece Ballade (French), this arrangement is true to the original including articulations, dynamic shading, and general tempo.
This piece is perfect for intermediate flute players. Showcases harmony and chord structure. Showcases harmony and chromatic phrases. Sounds wonderful with the timbre different than the piano original. Quick tempo, staccato vs. legato phrasing, and tempo are all important mechanisms in this piece.
