A parodical instrumental version of Henry Bishop's famous tune (There's no place like home).
Each variation gives the tune to a different instrument in the group and the various styles represent the people we visit, who lend their own flavour to the tune before returning to our original home.

„Home, Sweet Home“ ist ein Lied aus dem Jahr 1823, das mehr als 150 Jahre populär ist. Die Melodie des Songs wurde von einem englischen Komponisten Sir Henry Bishop geschrieben und der Text stammt von einem amerikanischen Dichter und Dramatiker John Howard Payne. 1827 wurde das Stück von einem schwedischen Komponisten Franz Berwald in seinem „Konzertstück for Bassoon and Orchestra“ und im Jahr 1909 in einem Stummfilm „The House of Cards“ verwendet. Das Lied wurde mehrfach interpretiert und die Coverversionen stammen aus einigen Epochen.

molto bello! There's no place like home indeed, and there couldn’t be a better song to express this thought in music! I still have an recording of Alma Gluck performing the song and I can't get enough of it even now!
