"Nine in the Afternoon" – the first song written for the 2008 album “Pretty Odd” by the famous US rock band “Panic! At the Disco”. The entire album was composed of the songs that had been planned to but were not released earlier in 2007. Another peculiar thing about it is that it’s the first time the release is without the traditional exclamation point in the middle of the band’s name. After release, “Nine in the Afternoon” went through a few changes in the key and lyrics. It was named one of the 100 Best Songs of 2008 by Rolling Stone and was widely used on TV (“Heroes” TV series’ soundtrack) and in video games (Rock Band 2, NHL 09, Guitar Rock Tour 2, and others).

First I tried to play this song in "Rock Band" and now I'm doing it on an actual guitar :) It feels so great!

sehr interessantes Indie-Pop-Rock Lied, eines der meinen Favoriten. und das Video mit „beetlesque“ Mtiven ist einfach klasse! der Ausklang des Songds gefällt mir am besten

These guys are a rock legend!! And they are never stopping to surprise with with their songs, up to now. This song was one of the first works I fell in love with - Pure quality rock!
