This work is Based on the poems "True Greatness" , "comfort" and the "power of words" by Thurstan Bassett( journalist and poet). He's born in England on the Isle of Wight on the 31st December, 1932 and at this time living in Cape Town, South Africa.
Studied the organ at Chichester Cathedral in England.

I have tried in this work to capture the essence of the poems and translate it into music thus creating a perfect symbiosis between lyrics and notes which flow and merge into each other like two glasses of water when mixed.
The work is rather difficult: But Not for the Alto, Not for the Alto violin, BUT for the piano!
