This version of the traditional folk song "Green grow the rushes oh" has been arranged for various combinations of voices - men's voices - in G (Alto, Tenor, Baritone), mixed voices - in B (Mezzo, Alto, Tenor) and women's voices - in D (Soprano, Mezzo-Soprano, Alto)
The traditional count-down of each symbol, from one up to twelve, is interrupted midway when the top voice declares "let's not make them listen to the lot" but the chorus hurriedly includes all twelve symbols anyway.
The sound sample is performed by Matthew Curtis

This version has not yet been recorded but I am illustrating it with my own performance of the mixed voices version.
