“Runaway Daydreamer” is the second single from the music album “Wanderlust” by Sophie Elis-Bexter, a UK artist. The album was released in 2014 and in two days became featured as “Album of the Week” by BBC Radio 2. “Runaway Dreamer” is one of album’s most popular singles, along with “Young Blood” and “Love is a Camera”. The songs were met with mixed to very favorable reviews from the critics. A more sentimental and emotional music style of the “Wanderlust” album indicated that Sophie stepped away from the usual dancefloor type of music. The album received a Silver certification from the British Phonographic Industry.

This woman has always had a mysterious style. I do love the way she developed in her music by now and the Runaway Daydreamer was a pleasant surprise to my ear, I agree with those who say it's the highlight of the Wanderlust album

Eine wunderschöne Melodie zum Entspannen und Träumen… )) Das beste Stück aus ihrem „Wanderlust“. Eigentlich war ich erstaunt, dass dieses Lied von Sophie Ellis Bextor gesungen wird – sie hat sich so stark verändert. Der Song und das ganze Album unterscheiden sich deutlich von ihren früheren poppigen Songs durch etwas Neues und Tiefes. Und mir scheint, dass diese Änderungen ihr nur zugute kommen.

Here it is finally! It somehow cost me effort to find the vocal-piano score to this song, maybe that's because it's on the new album that it's not met that often , officially I mean. That's a lovely song both to listen to and to play yourself!

I enjoyed listening to the entire "Wanderlust" album by Sophie, those are very sweets tunes indeed. I also see that change in her music style and I definitely like it better that the previous type of music works. Runaway Daydreamer is very fresh and light, so delightful to the ear...

Sophie is an extremely attractive woman with a perfect (to me) voice type. There is that innocence about the way she plays with the tune, about the way she behaves. I love that you don’t need to be watching any bright vids to enjoy this music, as it happens very often today – people are often longing for some shock to love something. While with Sophie, you can just lie back with her voice singing into your ear and picture a great image in your head.
