Born to Eternal Life is a duet for cello and piano inspired by St. Francis's Prayer, "Lord, make me an instrument of your peace." The title is taken from the last line of the prayer. The score includes both the full score and the part for cello, and is a Big Note version. While the cello part is relatively easy, the piano accompaniment is at the Late Intermediate-Advanced Level (Levels 6-7). The use of the sostenuto pedal is recommended for the piano accompaniment. No pedal is required for the solo lines given to the piano.
