Uptown Funk (Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars) • Vocal version

Playing this was a great throwback to the disco time of the 70ies. Like they say, Uptown Fun does remind of Michael Jackson's style. One can't but enjoy the groovy and funky keyboard line that seamlessly merges into the massive combo of horns, guitars and synthesisers (in the original recording). The bassline is perfectly punchy too, which makes the entire piece a perfect anthem-like hit. I think the funky lyrics go well above the melody, all you need for successful performance is the piano skill (could be above average) and most importantly, the endless charisma, some attitude and a bit of improvisation to make it sound similar to Bruno's energetic performance.
