Written in from December 2003 to April 2015
This work is in three movements: I. Allegro Moderato
II. "Crystal Pyramids on the Moon"
III. Allegro Moderato
This work is around 14 minutes long.
Movement one was completed in the winter of early 2015. It was written during a "run out" to Winnipeg
Movement two is a structural piece with overlapping pyramid shapes.
Movement three is in five continuous parts and the form is basically: A, B, A, C, A with the 4th's idea thrown in at the end of the second & thirds "A" sections that really drive the music to the end. This movement has been performed in a wind quinet and piano version.
