“Water Under the Bridge” is a disco-pop song by one of the best-selling artists in the world – Adele (Adele Adkins). It was written by Adele and the American songwriter and producer Gregory Kurstin who also worked with her on the singles “Million Years Ago” & the ‘comeback single’ “Hello”. All of the three songs were released in 2015 as part of Adele’s 3rd album “25”. Musically, “Water Under the Bridge” is a mid-tempo composition in E Major, it features a trip-hop riff and electro-drums that can be also heard in other compositions from “25”. In “Water Under the Bridge”, Adele reflects on the critical point of a couple’s relationship, the moment when the future of the relationship is being defined.

It's a somewhat unusual composition for Adele, musically. Judging by the rest of the album's tracks (8 out of which I've already practised on piano), Water Under the Bridge has so much electro and disco elements in it, which I find quite attractive, for a change. However, when you get to play the piano part like the one presented in this sheet music, you recognise that 'old good' Adele style and realise what an important part this instrument has always had in her music. Great song in this regard.
