“Amazing Day” is a rock song by one of the UK’s most famous modern rock bands – Coldplay. The song was written by all of the four members of the band together with the songwriter from Norway, the member of Stargate production team and the author of some songs Rihanna’s and Katy Perry’s songs – Mikkel Storleer Eriksen. “Amazing Day” was released as the 9th track on the band’s 7th album “A Head Full of Dreams” that became the No.1 album in the UK and the No.2 in the US. Lyrically, the slow ballad “Amazing Day” is a celebration of life, its everyday beauty and the joy that is shared by two lovers.

For me, Amazing Day turned from a soft rock song into a most beautiful piano lullaby that I now play to my kid from time to time before sleep. It's soft, it's soothing and it's perfectly suited for a single piano performer. The piece indeed is a celebration of life and its beauty. I do love its being compared to some of the U2 compositions as that's exactly what I loved about the band too.
