This is the first in a series of compositions arranging traditional hymn tunes for wind or string ensembles. This classic tune, first written by William Henry Monk in 1847, is arrangement for wind quintet and dedicated to Dr. Neil Anderson-Himmelspach, professor of composition at Texas Christian University. In his honor it is offered here free of charge for all to perform.
Dies ist die erste in einer Reihe von Kompositionen arrangieren traditionellen Hymne Melodien für Wind-oder Streicher-Ensembles.
