For clarinet, horn, harpsichord and cello
Handel is known for using in many of his works,
special manner of writing, when a musical notation draws
corresponding text. Perhaps the most famous
and often cited example of this technique is
tenor aria "Every valley shall be exalted"
from the beginning of the first part of the Messiah.
The epigraph of the work was the words:
"... and every mountain and hill made low;
