This piece is called A Cartoon simply because it sounds very wild and goes all over the place musically. It is a three part piece. The first part is in phrygian mode F to F. It plops along with the piano in accented accompaniment (note: piano part separate). The second part is a wild part dominated by sixteenth notes and a jazz like rhythm in the dorian mode. The third part goes back to phrygian, yet in a slightly more playful and faster tempo than the first part. The whole piece runs about three and a half to four minutes in length.
