Romance for domra with orchestra is a lyrical contemplative work for domra. The rich timbre palette of this instrument is able to convey all the sincere experiences and feelings of a person.
The lyrical theme of domra accompanied by the hammered chords of the orchestra in its symphonic development reaches a powerful culminating wave. And at its very peak, it breaks off, leaving domra alone to fight with the surrounding elements.
Folk instruments are quite young. They appeared on the big stage only at the end of the XIX century and continue to develop to this day.
