Available in SAB and SA. "Vessel of Love" was composed in honor of the ministry of the Reverend Joyce deVelder, of the Old Saratoga Reformed Church in Schuylerville, New York. In Joyce's years as a pastor, she emulated LOVE. She was important to me, the composer, as a spiritual leader.
Singers and listeners may notice a couple of short themes from Felix Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor. That is the reason for the "Nod to Mendelssohn."
This is a joyous celebration of Love.
