"In 2014, I wrote a musical composition for piano and orchestra to be performed as an overture for a classic crossover concert. The very first draft demo was named “Light”. After a while I entitled the work “A TEMPO”. I composed this musical piece thinking about light, joy and happiness. I performed this song in many concerts and events. After five years, in 2019, I was invited to conduct the Bucharest Symphonic Orchestra in an open air concert in honor of the Pope Francis' historical visit to Bucharest. The Roman Catholic Archdioceses of Bucharest asked me to specifically play the composition! I was very honored and profoundly impressed, and I enjoyed a thought at the time that the message in my music was successfully sent and received. Many thanks to Francisc Dobos, Liviu Elekes and Adriana Racasan for that wonderful moment in time! Andrei Tudor
"In the spring of 2019, I was preparing for Pope Francis' visit to Romania. I already had an anthem for the Bucharest visit, but I was trying to find a soundtrack for the visit. My friend and composer Liviu Elekes proposed to me some songs. Among them was "A Tempo." I was immediately captivated by the beauty, vibe, effervescence of light, enthusiasm and creativity that the piece emanates. I associated it with the phrase of Constantin Noica from De Coelo: "Don't forget that God sent you to earth to replace him: to find and give meaning, to create, to take his beginning forward." Rev. Francisc Dobos Spokesmam of the Archdiocese of Bucharest (2011-2020)
