The Nissequogue State Park Trail is set on a hilly terrain that runs along, between, and up and down the bluffs of the Long Island Sound and Nissequogue River in New York State, USA. The land upon which it is established has a rich and dark history; Climbing Nissequogue’s Shadows is the story of discovering joy in the climbing of its shadows.
Climbing Nissequogue’s Shadows is written for a B foot, open-hole flute fitted with a glissando headjoint, and a piano.
