Guitar solo originally written after my final Latin A Level exam in 1972
inspired by this poem by Gaius Valerius Catullus:
Quid solutis est beatius curis
Cum mens onus reponit
Ac peregrino labore fessi
Redimus larem ad nostrum
Desideratoque requiescimus lecto
(What is happier than cares that have been resolved
When the mind leaves aside its burden
and tired from the labour of travel
we come to see our home
and we rest in our longed-for bed)
