My first Piano-Trio deals with the History of Judaism in Central Europe and the admirable gift of a ethnic group, to be able to wrest joy in dance in the thoughest of life situations. In principle the tone quality of the Viola seemed for me better suited for this topic as the Violin. The piece uses partly Jewish songs, mostly the melodies are invented by myself.
